About us

Over 50 years' service to your community

The Redlands Clinic has helped look after our local community for over 50 years. The clinic offers exceptional medical care in a friendly environment. We offer a level of care that few practices can match.

All of our doctors are Australian trained and are members of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

All doctors are actively engaged in continuing medical education as well as teaching for the University of Queensland and the College of General Practitioners.

Our doctors will always see our patients with urgent medical problems that day and we endeavour to ensure that same day bookings are available for non urgent medical conditions.

We have male and female doctors to ensure patients' preferences are respected. We are open seven days a week and offer comprehensive after hours care. We are open evenings Monday to Friday.

Nursing staff

The clinics have a staff of 5 trained nurses.

In fact they are often the first person you see when you are unwell so we only employ the best.

They offer general medical advice and will help care for sick patients and ensure that our recall system for abnormal results, vaccinations, PAP smears and medical reviews are second to none.

All nurses are expert in wound dressings, plaster application and assisting in our procedure rooms.

New premises

New premises, new opportunities

In 2011 we made the decision to move the Cleveland practice to new premises opposite the Mater Hospital where we have the luxury of 12 consulting rooms right in the heart of a medical district that includes a pharmacy, a pathology collection site, an x-ray centre and allied health professional including a psychologist, a dietitian and a podiatrist.
